I've been receiving a ton of questions on here lately about what balls I prefer. I don't have time to get back with everyone, but I at least wanted to give you some general thoughts on what balls I'm using lately and why.
For the most part, I have been using the Angular One a lot. It's extremely versatile, and I've been able to use it on all five PBA oil patterns so far. I also really like the Smashtimes -- both the Solid and the Pearl have been good and compliment each other well.
We go through a lot of balls on Tour with the lanes constantly changing and following the transition, so at the end of the rounds it has been a whirlwind for me. The Smashtimes really clears the front and stores its energy for the backend of the lane.
I hope that helps. I'll continue to update everyone on my ball choice and philosophy via this blog throughout the season.
Thanks again for all the support, and keep watching the PBA on ESPN every Sunday afternoon!!
Thanks to everyone for all the words of support over the last couple weeks. I hope everyone has a great holiday, and be sure to catch back up with the Tour when we resume January 7th on ESPN for the finals of the H&R Block Classic live from Reno, NV.
Thanks to everyone who left me a message or comment of congratulations for my win on Sunday. It was obviously a tough match and it's never easy bowling against a good friend, but I guess I'll take it.
Thanks again for everyone's support, and keep tuning-in to watch us every Sunday on ESPN!!
Thanks to everyone for signing up and following me over to this great new site for the bowling world. BowlSpace will now be the best place to follow me and the rest of the Denny's PBA Tour exempt bowlers all season.
Also, don't forget to watch the PBA every Sunday afternoon on ESPN. We need your support!
